SEC supports application for judicial review
SEC is assisting West Ealing Resident and long time SEC supporter Tony Elley who is seeking a judicial review of the Council's decision to grant planning consent for the massive development of its site at Dickens Yard.
Richard Buxton who is an experienced planning solicitor filed the claim on Tony's behalf against Ealing Council on February 18th. There are seven grounds for bringing the claim. These relate both to the processes that the Council used in determining the application and the criteria it used to arrive at its decision.
The Council now has an opportunity to respond to Tony's application before a judge will decide whether it should be heard. The timing of these decisions is now with the courts.
